Experimental Game Design - Critical GamesĀ  A practical and theoretical game design course focused on innovative forms of gameplay. In this installment of Experimental Game Design the emphasis is placed on critical games: self-reflexive, subversive, inquiring, genre-bending artifacts that aim to interrogate gaming culture and the nature of play. Activities include analog and digital design exercises, frontal lectures, readings and in-depth analysis of works from the digital arts and the independent gaming world.
