George Minick

Director, Facilities and Building Operations, IDeATe

Bio

George Minick oversees the IDeATe facilities at Hunt Library. He is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy where he earned a Bachelor of Science in History. After naval service, he engaged in computer training and consulting and continued with computer support, project management, and information security. He then took an opportunity to learn and teach various aspects of metal machining and woodworking.

George joined the IDeATe team in February 2015 and is keenly interested in the creative applications of technology routinely explored by the students and faculty in the IDeATe program.
