Creators@IDeATe

Spring 2025 marks the 10th anniversary of IDeATe, and we’re excited to celebrate by launching Creators@IDeATe. This new program invites students to share their unique IDeATe experiences and showcase the vibrant creativity at the heart of our community. As a Creator, you’ll develop original content for the IDeATe’s Instagram account—bringing to life the interdisciplinary projects, ideas, and collaborations that define IDeATe. You’ll receive one assignment per week, with a specific theme (e.g. “Day in the Life”) and guidelines, and will be paid upon delivery and approval of the finished product.

Who can join?

Any CMU student enrolled in an IDeATe course in Spring 2025 is eligible to apply. We’re seeking students with a passion for sharing their journey in technology, design, and the arts. The deadline to apply is January 31, 2025.

How to get started:

Interested students should complete the Creators@IDeATe form to tell us about their interests and involvement in IDeATe. We’ll be in touch with next steps for selected creators.

Will creators be compensated?

Yes, participants will be compensated for each piece of content they create as part of Creators@IDeATe. Compensation will be discussed and agreed upon prior to starting. Note: This primarily applies to original content creation and may not include one-time takeovers.
