IDeATe Faculty Featured in Eberly Center Workshop

IDeATe faculty members Daragh Byrne and Garth Zeglin will be featured in a workshop offered by the Eberly Center, Spotlight on Innovative CMU Faculty Teaching on Tuesday, January 27th. The topic of the workshop will be "Learning Between Disciplines via Making and Makerspaces," and will delve into the challenges of teaching interdisciplinary courses to students with heterogeneous backgrounds. Byrne and Zeglin will share strategies and lessons learned from teaching two new IDeATe courses in which students collaborate intensively on interdisciplinary media synthesis and physical computing projects.
