New Vote for This Year's IDeATe T-Shirt Design + NetEase Info Session + STUDIO Grants + SURG

This Year's IDeATe T-Shirt Design Is...

Undecided! A few people pointed out that, for a few days last week, we left the voting form set so that people could vote more than once. We apologize for this oversight. In the interest of fairness, we have a fresh voting form, which will be open until 12 p.m. next Thursday, September 26th. For this round, you will only be able to vote once. It is fine to share the voting link, but please note that only people with CMU email addresses will be able to vote. We're aiming to have the shirts ready for distribution at the next FrIDeATe on October 11th.

NetEase Games Info Session TODAY at the ETC

Today, September 20th at 2:30 p.m. at the ETC, representatives from NetEase Games will be holding an infor session about the current happenings at the company, future strategies, and what they're looking for in candidates. If you are interested in attending, please email Susan Timko to let her know.

STUDIO Grants Program Now Accepting Applications

The Frank-Ratchye STUDIO for Creative Inquiry administers the Frank-Ratchye Fund for Art @ the Frontier (FRFAF): an endowment to encourage the creation of innovative artworks by the faculty, students and staff of Carnegie Mellon University. With this fund, the STUDIO seeks to develop a cache of groundbreaking projects created at CMU — works that can be described as “thinking at the edges” of the intersection of disciplines. We are now accepting proposals for funding for the 2019/2020 academic year. For more information about our grant program, please visit http://studioforcreativeinquiry.org/grants.
