We're the Game Creation Society and we want to invite you to join us at our Pitch Fair this Friday, February 3. Come if you want to learn about all of the games we are making this semester and join the team you are interested in! It will run from 6 PM to 8 PM at DH 2315 and pizza and drinks will be provided!
Algorithms with a Purpose
Registration for ACM@CMU's annual Algorithms with a Purpose (AWAP) competition is now open! AWAP is an exciting, fast-paced annual competition that poses an open-ended problem.
Teams of up to 4 will implement creative and clever solutions using anything from basic search to complex AI methods and compete to win cash prizes! The event is open to both newcomers and experienced coders, with two competition brackets to accommodate both. Only basic knowledge of Python is necessary.
This year’s theme is Mars Makeover. Come out to see what interesting problem we have created for you!
When: Friday 2/17 @ 5pm - Saturday 2/18 @ 5pm
Where: GHC Rashid Auditorium + Tepper Simmons Auditorium
What: Coding, free t-shirts, food, swag and prizes!
