Aaand we're back! So great to see everyone on campus and in Hunt Library this week. We hope that you're all settling in and we look forward to doing cool stuff with you this semester.

To kick things off, let's have a FrIDeATe. Meet us in the common area of the Hunt Library basement on January 27 at 4:50pm. Have a burrito. Make a friend.

AI Maker Space Info Session

The CMU AI Maker Space (AIMS) is open for business! We are hosting an information session on Thursday, January 26, from 5:30-6:30 in the AI Maker Space, 1001 Tepper (across from the Eberly Center).

Please RSVP here if you are able to attend.

AIMS has a variety of high-tech equipment, including robots, drones, smart appliances, high-performance computers, and VR equipment, that you can use for class projects or independent research.  The information session will introduce you to AIMS, how to get access to the equipment, hours of operation, and other pertinent information.  For more information, visit http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~aims/
